About Us

The story of BikeKidShop.com.....

BikeKidShop.com is our third store, launched as a follow up to BikeTrailerShop.com and BikeBagShop.com. In 2006, we launched the BikeTrailerShop.com with the ambition of offering cyclists better information and access to bike cargo trailers, and not long thereafter, we launched BikeBagShop in order to offer a wider range of bicycle bags and racks. With the succes of the BikeTrailerShop.com and the strong interest in bike cargo trailers, we realized that we were in an excellent position to begin offering bike child trailers as well. We quickly learned about many of the things that families are looking for in bike child transportation, and this helped us realize that many parents have a great deal of interest in bringing their children cycling. We were thus inspired to launch into a child-specific bike website. While we have been working on launching the BikeKidShop.com, our business has been growing rapidly, and we have been welcoming new members to our team. With our growing team, not only do we have a diverse and growing staff, but we now have more kids around. Several of our staff are parents themselves, and one of our team members has a little one on the way. We are able to have fun with our children, while at the same time getting to know the products that we sell better. The Bike Kid Shop staff is growing into a staff of expert cyclists who love to bring their kids along for the ride.

Since adding bike child trailers to our line of products, we have also been offering trailer cycles and Xtracycle. As we continue to grow the BikeKidShop.com, we plan on continuing to increase our offerings of bike child trailers, trailer cycles, bike child seats, children's bikes (with and without training wheels), children's bike clothing and helmets, as well as a range of other products and accessories aimed at encouraging kids to cycle in safe, fun, and convenient ways. If you have made it to this page of our website, you must share our excitement for getting kids into biking. We are always looking for new ideas for products and services, so let us know what you think...
