Not sure which conversion kit(s) you're going to need on your adventure? It's not a problem with Chariot's Click n' Store brackets, which allow you to tuck the cycling, jogging, and strolling kits away when not in use, while keeping them close at hand for when they're needed. The 2012-2013 Cougar now comes with the Strolling kit mentioned above.

I bought a Chariot Cougar 2 (2010) model with jogging kit, cycle kit and stroller kit and haven't looked back (except to make sure that the trailer was wide enough to fit through the odd tight space!). In short, I love it. We find it great for shopping and riding, with the jogging wheel being used the least of all as the stroller wheels are so versatile and steer more easily than the jogging wheel. Positives are that it is very comfortable, and handles any weather. It is also brilliantly designed and I have had a great deal of use out of it so have got my money's worth. It is large, but very manoeuverable, and I can comfortably fit two children in there. It still folds down into my SUV, but boot space may be a problem for some vehicles. Negatives are that it is too wide to fit through my front door (make sure you check the width first!) and the jogging kit could benefit from Chariot making some improvements (eg. swinging castor or better steering, and the jogging brake fouls on the stroller wheels when folded away). This doesn't bother me much though as I generally use the stroller wheels or cycle kit most of the time. A word of advice - When deciding whether to get a Cougar 1 or 2, consider whether your children get along as some children don't like sharing their cabin space - it isn't such an issue when you are riding but when walking little arguments can occur! I wonder if Chariot will one day consider a partition in-between the two seats?? One other thing... I bought my chariot via the bikekidshop.com website and was really impressed with their service and ability to fix issues when the wrong part had to be exchanged.

I first learned about Chariot when I started looking for something I could use for my 5 year old and 6 month old at the same time. Primarily I was looking for something to get out and be active in order to loose the rest of my baby weight. I am mostly using the chariot for running however I did purchase the bike hitch as well to use this summer. The chassis itself is far superior to any of the other ones I looked at. It looks great and both kids fit in it well. Even my 5 year old has plenty of room and has never complained of feeling crammed. It's a smooth ride for the kids and most of the time both end up asleep by the end of my run. The only thing I can say about it that isn't positive is that I wish the seats reclined a bit. I find my kids are sitting completely upright and it could be a bit more comfortable for them if the seat reclined or adjusted. Also, the jogging attachment is not a swivel wheel. This makes it difficult to turn. I also wish they made a swivel wheel because I'm jogging through neighborhoods that tend to have a few turns. Overall I would buy the chariot again in a heartbeat. Nothing compares to being able to exercise with two kids with such an age gap. They both love our runs and we all get out in one piece. It does come with a hefty price tag but looking and feeling great is priceless.

Love the Cougar 2! I have a 3 1/2 year old who is really tall for her age and she fits inside perfectly with our 7 month old son. We have the jogging attachement right now (this summer we'll get the bike attachement). The only down side is that it is pretty large for storing (we don't have a garage). But it fits through doorways and folds easily. And the price was great! No need to spend more on the 2012 model when the 2011 model has everything you need.

This is a fabulous piece of equipment! We have had ours for 8 years--hard usage! I use it almost every day through rain, snow, good weather, bike, xc ski. We are finally replacing it as the back wheel totally gave out, the chassis is bent (due to our older kids "hopping on"). It is so great--we call it our "second car." If you love to ski you can fit 2 little ones inside and your beginner skier can hold onto the pushbar and tagalong if they get tired. We SERIOUSLY love this thing! It shows the dirt and wear well and is so easy to put together. When we had a sedan and 2 kids it fit in the trunk (nothing else with it), now that we have a minivan and 5 kids it is even better! It handles so well when i push it across rough snowy terrain on the way to school and the shocks and accessories make us feel safe about taking our infant out too. So worth the money i wish we had bought it for our first instead of our second.

Ordered the red cougar yesterday and was delivered as promised the next day...Free! It took me longer to open the box than it did to put it together, convenience and ease of use is a considerable plus. This is the first trailer we've purchased, and I couldn't be more satisfied. The quality of Chariot Carriers is top notch, and although quite expensive is worth every penny, I definitely struggled over spending that kind of money on a trailer. We took it for a test ride on it tonight with our 35 lb. toddler and couldn't even feel the trailer, it's incredibly light and smooth, no rattling noises, tugging, or heaviness. Thought the adjustable suspension was an excess trailer lux detail but it makes a considerable difference in comfort, definitely appreciate it now that I've used it. So happy with the service, delivery, and my new trailer, no regrets here.

We just love our Chariot Cougars. We have had a Cougar 1 (single seater) for 2 years and it has been faultless. Our daughter has been all over the place in it since birth, from commutes to day-care to even a Tour de France mountain stage at 2 months old! On the arrival of our second child we didn't hesitate to buy a Cougar 2. Plus we'll keep the Cougar 1 to use as well. Although they are an expensive investment, the quality, functionality and resale value make it very worthwhile. We use the bicycle trailer kit, stroller kit and jogging kit. Sometimes carrying all the parts and using each function on a family day out.

I absolutely love love love this bike trailer/stroller. It makes it so easy to haul the kids around and get some fresh air. The trailer is light weight, super well built and very well though out. The stroller/bike attachments are so easy to install and remove - it maneuvers well. I can't say enough good things about our chariot. I use it daily, mainly as a bike trailer, but I did buy the jogging and walking stroller attachments,. which work great as well. I am selling all of my other strollers as this one does it all for me. It also has a great storage/cargo carrier that folds up when not in use. My only small complaint is the parking brake is hard for me to reach when the cargo area is unfolded. But this is very minor. I would highly recommend this product - it is worth every penny!
